Our BSL For Beginners Course Level 1 offers a fun and methodical way to learn Sign Language in an encouraging and confidence-building small group setting.

We will provide helpful worksheets and signpost you to relevant resources - online and off - to support your learning , including a video library of the session content.

​

You'll be assigned an approachable, experienced trainer who can offer clear, constructive feedback with patience and understanding.

When: We are not currently offering Online Courses to the public however please
get in touch if you would like us to run a Level 1 online course for your leisure group or company.
* Minimum 7 students
 

 Who: For beginners and refreshers.

What will I learm

Alphabet, Finger-spelling and Basic Sentences

 Numbers, Times and Sentence Structures

Weather, Days and Months

Animals and Colours

Transport and Directions

Family, Descriptions and Clothing

Food and Drink

Home and Hobbies

Each lesson will last between 45 mins and one hour and will be live on Zoom. 

This course includes free course repeats and free access to our online video library to aid revision.  You will also receive a PDF study guide to use during the course.

*Our BSL Level 1 course does not include exams.  If you wish to take the exams please let us know and we can arrange this for you.

Sign Together UK is an Accredited Signature centre for BSL learning and assessment. We follow Signature's curriculum and learning objectives.  All of our tutors are appropriately qualified in BSL with relevant Signature qualifications.
