We offer training for all ages at all levels of education,
with offerings for both students and staff
BSL FOR NURSERY STUDENTS
Short 20-25 minute sessions with listen-and-repeat learning, using cards, pictures, songs and age-appropriate signing of children's books. Staff are welcome to join in and learn with the children! Our staff are like an in-house Mr Tumble, minus the dressing up!
BSL FOR PRIMARY STUDENTS
8-12 week traditional teacher-led watch and repeat classes with pair-work, group and independent exercises. Covers basic vocabulary such as colours, animals, transport, family, number and letters!
BSL FOR SECONDARY STUDENTS
Level 1 BSL in a term an hour a week with a range of watch-and-repeat, pair work, group work and independent learning.
Confident learners can move on to Level 2 in the next term or repeat Level 1.
Want a BSL visitor for a Special Event Day?
No problem. Hire a Sign Together UK British Sign Language trainer to come to your school for a 1/2 day or full day immersion experience with your students. We can rotate classes so everyone has a go, or take one group on a whistle stop tour of BSL.

BSL FOR COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES
Our services typically involve:
-Enrichment courses of Level 1 and Level 2 BSL Sign language for students. These can be inclusive or exclusive of formal qualifications which the UK's number 1 recognised awarding body, Signature.
-Sign language workshops for staff (especially in cases where a student or colleague may be a sign user). These are usually 1/2 day or full day but we can also offer Level 1 and Level 2 staff training locally or online.
